We reached home yesterday and immediately collapsed -- the best kind of vacation is the one you need to recover from right??
In all seriousness, though, this trip was fantastic. I'll be sharing photos and favorites from my travels next week, but I just wanted to say that seeing the art, walking down the Paris streets (the houses! the alleyways! the balconies!), and celebrating with family was truly wonderful.
But now, on to the week!
And it is going to be a tough one.
I'm participating in San Francisco Open Studios next weekend and boy do I have a list of things to get through! Fortunately, this ultimately boils down to one real weekly wish (and one much-needed companion wish):
Prepare for my open studio event! This involves a good amount of painting, but also a vast array of other more mundane tasks including some intense cleaning, furniture arranging, and brownie-baking (take note, those of you in the Bay Area!).
Make time for self-care daily. During weeks like this, all the good habits I'm working on often fly out the window. I want to make sure to keep exercising, eat well, and make time for reading/recovery time.
Best of luck on getting things done this week! Do any of you have any exciting things planned?
